We are a small collective of people inspired by health, driven by science, and passionate about giving back. While our brand origin started with one man, Dr Paul Turner, in his personal quest to resolve a long-unanswered question around inflammation, his vision inspired a larger narrative… how can science-backed products that heal the human body, align with our very personal desire to bring healing and ignitability to broader social initiatives.

We’re driven by a larger goal than making great science-backed products that achieve results, we’re impassioned about giving back. 

Koéna is the Hawaiian word for balance, a condition in which different elements are equal or in the correct proportions, i.e. there is no ying without yang, there is no self without others – through their very existence they bring both definition and meaning to each other.

Our slogan at Koéna is to “give balance back”; to our loyal customers we hope that our years of investment in science and the personal challenges of getting to this point will bring restoration to your skin and your health. And… as custodians of your investment, we commit to investing wisely in social initiatives that amplify health and social wellbeing in less fortunate communities.
